Man fatally stabbed in Garston is named by police

A man fatally stabbed in Liverpool has been named by police.

Thirty-six-year-old Paul Millea was found on Shrewsbury Road, Liverpool, at 23:30 BST on Saturday, said Merseyside Police.

He was taken to hospital where he later died. A post-mortem examination found Mr Millea, from Garston, died of a stab wound to the chest.

Police said a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
