Murder charge over Liverpool fatal stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Liverpool.

Paul Millea, 36, from Garston, died from a stab wound to the chest after he was found in Shrewsbury Road at about 23:30 BST on Saturday.

Phillip Daniels, 25, of Cornerbrook, Liverpool, is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court later.

Kimberley Daniels, 28, of Hare Croft, Liverpool, is also due before magistrates charged with assisting an offender.

A 24-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on conditional bail pending further inquiries.
