James Meadows: Four charged over Huyton teen's shooting death

Three men have been charged with the murder of a teenager who was shot in the head while riding pillion on a motorbike.

James Meadows, 17, was fatally wounded in a shooting on Lyme Cross Road in Huyton, Merseyside, on 8 October 2017.

He died in hospital the following day.

Dylan Westall, 28, Michael Roberts, 24, and Craig Johnson, 29, have all been charged with murder. Samantha McDermott, 30 has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Mr Westall and Mr Roberts have also been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

All four have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday.
