The landlord of a Norfolk pub has denied murdering his girlfriend, whose body was found in a freezer.

Michael Tucker, 49, of The Compasses Inn in Snettisham, is charged with murdering Rebecca Thorpe, 29.

Her body was found in a freezer in an outbuilding at the pub in March. A post-mortem examination found she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Mr Tucker entered a not guilty plea at Norwich Crown Court. His trial is due to begin on 6 December.
