Norfolk winter-damaged roads repair date set

A date has been set for repair work to be carried out on a busy road in Norfolk.

The A146 Trowse bypass was damaged by winter weather and needs resurfacing.

The two-week repair programme is due to start on Monday 23 August. It will only be carried out overnight and is set to be suspended over the bank holiday.

As part of the £155,000 repairs, the slip roads from the A47 Norwich southern bypass will be closed and diversions put in place.

A Norfolk County Council spokesman apologised for any disruption.
