Pedestrian struck by car in Norfolk dies in hospital

A 19-year-old pedestrian who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Norfolk has died in hospital.

Dainiuis Paulauskus, from Thetford, was walking towards the town on the A134 at Barnham Common when he was struck by a Citroen C5 on Saturday 14 August.

He was initially treated at hospital in Bury St Edmunds but was then transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he died on Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to get in touch.
