Wind 'blows' girl, 15, under car in Norfolk

A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured when a strong gust of wind "blew" her under a car in Norfolk.

The girl was hurt on Main Street in Walcott, near Norwich, at about 1700 BST on Sunday.

People who live locally and saw the incident told the BBC she was blown under the car during severe weather.

The East of England Ambulance Service said she was taken by land ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also called to the scene.
