'Speed dating' to lure candidates in Norfolk

A Norfolk council will be holding a "speed dating" event to attract people into running as councillors.

North Norfolk District Council is giving members of the public the chance to ask councillors about the role at their offices on 20 October.

The aim is to "demystify" council work and make it as accessible to as many people as possible, a spokesman said.

An election for all 48 North Norfolk District Council seats will be held in May next year.
