Cyclist dies in hospital after collision in Norwich

A cyclist in his 70s who suffered serious head injuries in a collision with a car in Norfolk earlier in the week has died in hospital.

The accident happened in Earlham Road, Norwich, on Monday afternoon, when a Peugeot 306 collided with the cyclist near the junction of Alexander Road.

The rider of the bicycle, a local man, died in hospital late on Wednesday.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information about it.
