Spending Review: Council seeks efficiency experts
- Published
Norfolk County Council has advertised for two efficiency experts to help it save £155m over the next three years.
The posts will each have an annual salary of £48,0000. One is for three months, the other for 11 months.
The council said the savings made will quickly outweigh the salaries. The positions follow cuts made to council budgets in the Spending Review.
It added the costs were covered by the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership, not the county council.
