Norwich City Academy in £21m redevelopment

An academy in Norwich which has been open for just over a year is to be redeveloped at the cost of £21m.
City Academy opened in the former Earlham High School buildings in September 2009 following a prolonged period of poor pupil performance.
The design on the front of the building was changed to mark its new status. Norfolk County Council said it would start site redevelopment in January.
The academy is expected to to move into the new building from summer 2012.
In a statement the county council said the new building would "help to further drive improvement and raise aspiration".
