Electrical retailer Bennetts reopens six stores

The electrical retailer Bennetts, which went into administration last month, has officially reopened six stores.

Parts of the Norwich-based firm were bought by Hughes Electrical which is based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Hughes reopened six of the 16 Bennetts stores on Wednesday, taking on about 120 of the 228 staff put at risk when administrators were called in.

Stores reopened in Norwich, Cromer, Dereham, Martlesham Heath in Suffolk, Colchester, and Farnham in Surrey.
