An exhibition revealing the Royals' links with west Norfolk opens on Friday to celebrate the wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Royal Connections will go on display at Custom House in King's Lynn, featuring photographs, china, magazines and other curiosities.

The story of how the Royal Family came to buy their winter retreat at Sandringham is also told.

Railway tickets and posters from the Royal station will be on show too.

Borough Mayor Zipha Christopher will open the exhibition, which runs until 22 July.

A royal-themed trail through the old part of the town has also been created, with leaflets available.
