Man jailed for murdering friend in Great Yarmouth

A migrant factory worker from Latvia has been jailed for life after admitting the murder of his friend in Great Yarmouth.

Jurijs Ostrovskis, 21, of Euston Road, Great Yarmouth, stabbed Vladimir Adamavics, also 21 and from Latvia, on 2 January during an argument.

On 6 April Ostrovskis pleaded guilty at Norwich Crown Court.

He was jailed by Judge Peter Jacobs and was told he will serve a minimum of 11 years.
