A former public toilet block overlooking the seafront at Sheringham has been sold at auction for £104,000.

It sold for more than double its guide price, drawing interest from around the country thanks to coverage in the national media.

The building, which is more than 100 years old, closed in 2006 and was sold with planning permission to be used as a holiday home.

Funds from the sale will go towards building a new public toilet.
