Man charged with Norwich bus driver abuse

A 51-year-old man has been charged with carrying out a verbal racist attack on a bus driver in the centre of Norwich.

The man, who lives in the city, was arrested over the alleged incident on Monday 13 February at a bus stop in Castle Meadow.

The driver of a First Bus reported he had been verbally abused.

The man is due before magistrates in Norwich on Friday charged with the racially-aggravated provocation of violence and threatening behaviour.
