Further tests are taking place to find out how a man died after going missing following a stag do in Norfolk, an inquest heard.

The body of 25-year-old Charles Watson from Henstead, Suffolk, was found in his car submerged in the New Cut at St Olaves, Norfolk, on 13 April.

The hearing, in Norwich, was told further toxicology were needed to establish the cause of death.

Coroner William Armstrong said the death was not thought to be suspicious.

Mr Watson, known as Sam, went missing at about 2:30 BST on 9 April after a night out in Great Yarmouth. He was reported missing by his family the next day.

Police are still investigating what happened to Mr Watson between the time he was last seen in Great Yarmouth and his body was recovered from the River Waveney.

The inquest was adjourned to a later date.
