Royal Bank of Scotland in Norwich robbed

A bank in Norwich has been robbed by a man who fled the scene with a haul of cash.

Police were called to the Royal Bank of Scotland in Queen's Street at about 15:30 BST after a man demanded money from a cashier and fled on foot with an "undisclosed amount of cash".

Armed officers were also called, although has not been revealed whether a firearm was used.

A 54-year-old man from Norwich has been arrested.

No-one was injured during the robbery.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Norfolk Police.
