Body found after caravan fire in Norfolk

An investigation is underway after the emergency services found a man's body in a burnt-out caravan.

The area surrounding Sawmills Road in Diss, Norfolk, has been sealed off following the fire on Saturday night.

Police said the death, near the railway track, was unexplained. Next of kin have been informed, although formal identification is yet to take place.

A member of the public is understood to have raised the alarm after spotting the caravan alight.

Police forensics experts and fire investigators are at the scene to try and find out what caused the fire.
