A11 Besthorpe crash: Norfolk victim named

A van driver who died in a crash that closed off part of a major route into Norfolk at the weekend has been named.

Jeremy Middleton, 35, of Old Norwich Road, in Horsham St Faith, died in the smash involving a horse box on the northbound stretch of the A11 at Besthorpe on Sunday.

A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The two horses in the box were uninjured.

An inquest into his death is due to be opened by the Norwich coroner.
