Greater Anglia cancels 18 train services due to illness
Eighteen train services have been cancelled in the east of England due to sickness among rail staff.
The affected trains were due to leave Norwich, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Lowestoft and Ipswich.
Abellio Greater Anglia says the cancellations are each due to a "higher instance of short-term sickness" among its train crew.
The train operator also cancelled 10 services on Friday, including two mainline services to London.
A spokeswoman for Abellio Greater Anglia said: "We would like to apologise for the cancellation of some train services today.
"We are doing all we can to minimise the effect to journeys and to provide alternative transport and additional stops on other services wherever possible."
Customers are able to use booked tickets on alternative services, the company said.
