"Beer goggles" which replicate the effects of drink-driving are to be used in a Northamptonshire roadshow on the dangers of alcohol and drug misuse.
The computer simulation will be among interactive games on a bus, Northamptonshire County Council said.
It will be in Corporation Street, Corby, on Thursday.
The council has also set up a drug treatment and advice service for young people, which can be delivered in locations around the county, it said.
Joan Kirkbride, cabinet member for policy, partnerships and performance, said: "We would like parents and young people to know that if you want advice or help with drug and alcohol related issues, that they can phone and talk to an adviser.
"If the young person is in need of treatment, then they can discuss this with a drug adviser and together they can plan the help needed so that this young person can become free of all addiction."
