Crackdown to target road offences in Northamptonshire

  • Published

Police are to use patrol cars and unmarked vehicles in a crackdown on motoring offences in Northamptonshire.

This weekend's operation will tackle motorists who break speed limits, drive without a seatbelt, use a mobile phone or have been drinking.

Pc David Lee will lead the operation with a group of special police constables and other officers.

The crackdown will target the four most common offences that lead to serious road traffic collisions, Pc Lee said.
