Fifteen arrested after drugs raids in Corby

Fifteen people have been arrested following police raids on "major drugs houses" in Northamptonshire.

Officers carried out warrants at six houses on Monday and seven on Tuesday. All 13 properties were in Corby.

The work involved 50 officers and followed months of investigation under Operation Guardian, which also targets burglary, car crime and robbery.

One woman and 14 men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs.

Police said they had put a stop to drugs activity at houses in Grendon Avenue, Landseer Court, and Eastbrook, as well as further addresses across the town.
