Gang rob jewellers in Northampton

A gang of four people have robbed a jewellers in Northampton.
The offenders forced their way into the shop in Abington Square at 0725 GMT and assaulted two staff members, although neither received serious injuries.
They smashed display cases and stole an "unknown amount of jewellery" before making off in a vehicle, Northamptonshire Police said.
Anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police.
