Man accused of murdering father near Towcester

A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with murdering his 94-year-old father in a Northamptonshire village.
Harry Zebedee was found dead by police called to a property in Slapton, near Towcester, early on Friday morning.
John Zebedee, 54, appeared before Northampton magistrates and will appear at the town's crown court on Wednesday.
Officers are awaiting further post-mortem test results before releasing details about the cause of death.
