An artist's impressions of two men wanted in connection with a sex attack on a teenager in a Northamptonshire town have been released by police.

The 18-year-old woman was walking through a wooded area between the boating lake and George Street in Corby when she was attacked on 12 March.

She was grabbed and pushed to the ground by the men, before another man came to her aid.

Police are keen to talk to the man who helped the woman.

Officers described him as a crucial witness.

The offenders were described as being in their mid 20s; one was 5ft 8in (1.72m) and stocky, while the other was 6ft (1.83m) and very slim.

The shorter of the two men had short brown hair and was unshaven with a thick moustache. He was wearing black jogging bottoms and a black jacket.

The second man had very short, dark brown or black hair, a stubbly beard and sharp features. He was wearing dark jogging bottoms and a black hooded zip-up top. His trainers were black with fluorescent laces.
