Wellingborough sex attacks teenager gets suspended sentence

A teenager who subjected two women to sex attacks in Northamptonshire has been given a suspended prison sentence.

Bryn Waughington, 19, from Bromfield Avenue, Derby, pleaded guilty on 5 May to two counts of sexual assault, on 28 January and 12 February.

He carried out the attacks on the women in Wellingborough's London and Elsden roads, town magistrates heard.

Waughington, whose term was suspended for six months, was put on the sex offenders' register for five years.

He has been electronically tagged and is subject to a four-month curfew.
