Man charged after body found near A45 in Northampton

A 42-year-old man from Northampton has been charged with causing death by careless driving after the body of a man was found beside the A45.

Jack Bristow 39, was found on 12 July on the carriageway between the Collingtree and Hunsbury junctions.

A post-mortem examination concluded that Mr Bristow from Irchester died after being hit by a vehicle.

The man charged will appear at Northampton Magistrates' Court on 9 August.

He has also been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.
