Six men have been arrested in connection with the death of a Corby businessman and night club boss.

David 'Les' Ross, 39, was found dead at the Village Inn Express hotel in Corby on 17 December.

The men arrested in connection with the death are aged between 20 and 35.

A 40-year-old Corby man, arrested on suspicion of the murder of Mr Ross, remains on police bail pending further enquiries.

Mr Ross's home in Corby was burgled three days before he died.

Det Ch Insp Martin Kinchin said police believed the burglary was "not an opportunist crime but a planned crime targeting Mr Ross".

The arrests were part of a planned operation involving 50 police officers.

Police are continuing to appeal for anybody with information about the death to contact them.
