The victim was waiting in Bateman Gardens, Hyson Green, at around 0300 BST when one man got in the car and another outside demanded money.

The 44-year-old male driver fled and car keys and cash were later found to have been taken.

The robbers are described as black, between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 8ins (1.62m and 1.73m) tall and in their early 20s.

One also had a distinctive scar, described as a "straight line", which was just beneath his left eye.
