A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an explosion at a house in Nottingham in which two people were seriously hurt.
Sandra Shaw, 42, and her partner Alex "Sonny" Kirk, both lost limbs in the blast at a house on Stockhill Lane, Basford, on Sunday 20 June.
The couple remain in hospital in Nottingham, in a stable condition.
Forensic officers are still examining items from the house to establish the cause of the explosion.
The blast was heard up to half a mile away and caused part of the house's rear wall to collapse and much of the first floor to give way.
The house, managed by Nottingham City Homes, has since been demolished and the site made safe.
Police have removed items including a cooker and washing machine in an effort to find out what caused the explosion.
