Two people have been rescued from a house fire in Nottingham.

Firefighters were called to an address in Havenwood Rise in Clifton just before 0500 BST.

The occupants were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics at the scene. The front of the property and a motorbike was damaged in the fire.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said officers were investigating the incident but it was too early to say if it was started deliberately.
