Worksop man jailed for five years over shotgun


A Nottinghamshire man has been jailed for five years after admitting possession of a sawn-off shotgun.

Martin Shaw, 21, of Watson Road in Worksop, was arrested in April after he was heard bragging about plans for an armed robbery.

Police officers raided another address shortly afterwards and discovered the weapon.

At Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday he also plead guilty to possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
