Nottingham garden murder police granted extra time

Police have been granted extra time to question a 38-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was shot dead in a Nottingham garden.
Mark Shaw, 24, of Winterton Rise, Bestwood, was shot in the head at the property in Heatherington Gardens, Top Valley, at about 0050 BST on Saturday.
The 38-year-old man was arrested after voluntarily attending Oxclose Lane police station on Tuesday.
Detectives have until the early hours of Friday to question the man.
A police cordon remains in place in Heatherington Gardens.
