Police bid to trace bogus caller in Nottingham

Police are trying to trace a man who targeted a 67-year-old man in a distraction burglary in Nottingham.

The offender called at the man's home in Surgey's Lane, Arnold, and said he was from the water board.

He asked the man to turn off the water and then stole a purse from the property.

The man is described as white, about 6ft tall with brown hair. Police have appealed for anyone who has any further information to come forward.
