Murder charge over death of Sara West in Nottingham

A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a house in Nottingham.

Sara West, 21, who had a nine-week-old baby son, was found at her home in Aspley Lane by officers at about 1315 BST on Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination found she died as a result of stab wounds.

James Sullivan of Maltby Close, Aspley, has been charged with murder and is expected to appear before magistrates in Nottingham on Saturday.
