A 48-year-old man has been jailed for an indefinite period after admitting the manslaughter of a Nottingham man.

David Turner Young, of Belconnen Road, Bestwood, stabbed Michael Malone Young, aged 51, some time between 4 and 8 January 2010.

Mr Young's body was found at his flat in Winchester Court, Sherwood.

Judge Michael Stokes QC passed an indeterminate sentence at Nottingham Crown Court and ordered Young to serve a minimum of five years in prison.

Young admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

Judge Stokes passed the sentence in the interest of public protection.
