Officers were called to the Tesco store, in Castle Boulevard, on Monday afternoon.

Security guards were filling a cash machine at the premises when they were threatened by two masked men, one of whom was brandishing a firearm.

The suspects are described as between 5ft 7in (1.70m) and 5ft 10in (1.77m) tall and are believed to be in their early 20s.

No-one was injured during the incident, police said.
