A man arrested in connection with the murder of a father-of-two who was shot outside his Nottinghamshire home eight years ago, has been released on bail.

David Draycott, 40, of Woodlands Way, Sutton in Ashfield, was shot several times on 7 October 2002.

He died four days later in King's Mill Hospital.

A 36-year-old man from Sherwood, Nottingham, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder. He was released on bail pending further inquiries.

A 54-year-old man arrested at HMP Whitemoor on 9 December is no longer being questioned by police. Two men were also held, but released in April.

Mr Draycott, who was a businessman, had just arrived home when he was shot.
