A man arrested in connection with an explosion at a Nottingham house has been released without charge.
Alex Kirk, 38, and his partner Sandra Shaw, 43 both lost limbs as a result of the incident on Stockhill Lane, Basford, on 20 June.
Mr Kirk was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in August.
Police said they were still investigating the cause of the explosion and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Police carried out a forensic examination of the house and removed a number of items including a cooker and a washing machine.
The house, managed by Nottingham City Homes, has since been demolished and the site made safe.
