A Nottingham man has appeared in court 10 years after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

In June 2000, Imran Rashid was involved in a crash in Wollaton, which killed 19-year-old Nadeep Singh Walia and injured six others.

He has been in Pakistan and was stopped at Manchester Airport on Tuesday.

At Nottingham Crown Court, he admitted breaching his bail conditions and was remanded into custody until 4 May.

The 34-year-old, formerly of Newstead Grove, had been driving a Peugeot 405 when he was in collision with a Rover.
