Police have released CCTV images of a man suspected of exposing himself to a mother and her seven-year-old son in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

The man walked out from the smoking area at the rear of Martha's Vineyard pub, in Clumber Street, and shouted at the passing woman and child.

After getting their attention, he exposed himself.

The incident happened on 15 April, and the man is thought to have carried out a similar act earlier that day.

It is thought to have taken place in the same area, but police have not yet identified the victim.

Pc Lyndon Youd said: "We are following a number of other lines of inquiry in our investigation, but want to appeal to anyone who knows who this man is to identify him to us immediately.

"While we do not believe he is a particular danger to the public, we are concerned that he deliberately targeted a mother and her child to carry out this act as well as another person, who we are yet to identify."

The man is white and was wearing a grey-and-white-striped hooded top, dark trousers, white trainers and a grey baseball cap.
