Woman who died in Epperstone bypass crash named

A female passenger who died in a collision between two cars in Nottinghamshire has been named.

Louise Hunt, 36, of Ravenshead, was in a Saab which collided with a Nissan on the A6097 Epperstone by-pass on Friday evening.

The male driver of the Saab is in a serious condition in hospital.

The driver of the Nissan, Mark Gallagher, 43, from Warwickshire, also died in the accident, a Nottinghamshire police spokesman said.

A woman and three children who were also in the Nissan are being treated in hospital.

The woman is in a serious condition and the children are in a stable condition, police said.
