Ollerton two-vehicle crash death woman named

A 57-year-old woman who died following a two-vehicle crash in Ollerton has been named.

Gillian Smith, from Edwinstowe, was injured when the car she was driving collided with a lorry on the A6075, near Ollerton Island, on Wednesday.

Mrs Smith was taken to King's Mill Hospital but later died, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The 53-year-old male driver of the heavy goods vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

Nottinghamshire police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
