Four arrested after man dies in A611 Annesley crash

Four people have been arrested after a 22-year-old man died in a car crash in Nottinghamshire.

The man was in a silver Ford Focus which left the road and hit a tree in a field off the A611, near Annesley, just before midnight.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 22-year-old woman from the same car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Three men and one woman, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, remain in police custody.

Police have recovered a silver Honda Civic Type R which they believe was also involved in the crash.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the cars before it happened.
