A Nottingham library is closing ahead of its move to a new £15m complex which will see it sit alongside health clinics and housing services.

St Ann's Library, at Robin Hood Chase in St Ann's, will reopen at its new home on 23 April.

The St Ann's Valley Centre, on Livingstone Road, has been funded by NHS Nottingham City and a government grant.

It is the city's fourth such complex after Bulwell, Clifton and Hyson Green.

Services on offer at the complex include three GP surgeries, speech therapy and council rent and benefits advice.

Nottingham City Council's David Trimble said: "This new centre will build on the success of the existing centres and will offer a modern accessible and flexible space allowing an integrated approach to service delivery."

The authority has not yet said what it plans to do with the old library building.
