Nottingham-based company Boots puts 200 jobs at risk

Boots has confirmed about 200 jobs are at risk with the closure of photo film-processing labs in 160 of its stores.

The Nottingham-based company said instant print services were more popular and traditional developing would be available, but outsourced.

Boots said "one or two" roles in those branches would be affected, adding that 360 stores will remain unchanged.

A spokesman also insisted it was "working to offer redeployment opportunities" to minimise job losses.
