Man released by police investigating Hyson Green shooting

A 21-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Nottingham has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

He was arrested after shots were fired at a Citroen car containing three men in Gregory Boulevard last Monday.

A 32-year-old man arrested in Leicester, on Friday, for assisting an offender has also been released on bail.

Police have so far arrested five people in connection with the incident.

A 21-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of the same offence has been bailed and another 21-year-old man, arrested on Saturday, has been told he will not face charges over the shooting in Hyson Green.

A 31-year-old man arrested on Monday was released without charge the following day.
