Malakai McKenzie murder: Tenth person arrested in Nottingham

A tenth person has been arrested by police investigating the murder of a teenager at a Nottingham pub car park.

Malakai McKenzie, 19, died after being shot outside The Hubb, in Hucknall Road, Sherwood, on 21 April.

A 22-year-old man, from the Radford area, is being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Three men have already been charged with murder and remanded. Six other people arrested in connection with the shooting have been released on bail.

Ijah Lavelle-Moore, 20, and Malcolm Vaughan Francis, 18, both from New Basford, have been charged with murder along with Cameron Cashin, 20, from Basford.

All three men, who have also been charged with a firearms offence, are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 23 May.

A 21-year-old woman and two men, aged 38 and 24, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been bailed.

Three other men, aged 19, 17 and 22, who were also arrested in connection with the murder, have also been released on bail.
